The Watchman

    "Where have you been!" exclaimed Alice. "We have been looking for you for some time now."

    The boy with platinum blond hair hung his head and answered "I've been looking for you."

    "You have?"

    "Yes, but it seems that we have kept missing each other," he lifted his head to peer up toward Alice.

    "Then why did you run away when you first crossed through the looking glass?"

    "Well," he shifted his body to stand up straight. "I use to be a rabbit, an old rabbit, and when I crossed through I became a teenage boy. I am sure you would have freaked out a little if you were in my shoes."

The Round Up

   The group made their way back through the hallway and back outside to the front of the house. The man still sat under the tree, hookah pipe in hand, with eyes peacefully shut. The Rabbit approached the Caterpillar. "It is time."

   "For what?" sharply asked the Caterpillar.

   "For us to return."

   "Why?"

   "Everything comes full circle."

   "Not now."

    The rabbit leaned over and whispered something into the sitting man's ear. His eyes opened wide and he nodded. He slowly stood up and joined the group, towering over them, for her stood a foot or two above the rest.

The Start of the Beginning

     The group of Wonderland creatures all made their way back to the Queen's event who was too involved with her own speech to realize who was missing. They sneaked into the back seats just as the opening speech was coming to an end. There were however three creatures missing, the Mad Hatter, March Hare and the dormouse who had taken a detour for one last cup of tea, for they argued it was tea time and would be rude not to stop for at least one cup of tea.

Alice walked along through the great towering forest, down the cobblestone path.  Every now and then, a large procession of mushroom men would pass along, and Alice had no choice but to stall; this happened no more than three times before Alice grew impatient.

“Really now,” commented Alice as she waited for the scuffling to subside.  “They did invent detours for people like you.”

Ciel stood in front of the Clock Tower, looking up at it in wonder. She stood there for some time before sighing.

"Julius called me here, but for what reason?" she wondered aloud quietly. "Maybe for a cake party? We haven't had one of those in a while...especially since last time I got Julius's head stuck in a large cake." She laughed at the memory. "That was hilarious! Next time I will bake him in the cake to see if he can get out!"

She looked down at the doorknob to the door.

"Well, here I go!"

Ker-chak

"...?"

She twisted the doorknob again.

"It's locked..."

“Alice, my dear!” Her father called from the black piano.  His crisp, clear voice echoed from the spotless walls of the chamber.  He looked up from the white keys to watch Alice as she approached.  “Come here, Alice.”

She came slowly, brown laced boots thumping on the tile softly, her sky blue dress and red ribbons bouncing as she glided along.  Wavy, golden blonde hair curled about her face like a glazed moss, shining with the color of sunlight.  With the air of a content, young girl, she answered calmly:
